Letting the Cat out of the Bag

Posted by RightWingRocker on November 7, 2007

More than just for fun, over the last month or so, I’ve been baiting the hook for liberal assholes who want to come on here and call me a Nazi. Once I started showing the seriousness of my cause, they cowered, as expected. The following posts were part of the deal:

Annoying liberals
You’d Think They’d Be Proud
A Reasonable Liberal

and

A Few Questions

The Hitlery quiz was simply an opportunity to show exactly where she stands on things that matter to people who respect the Founders’ vision and their creation, which is today the greatest nation the world has ever experienced, despite the Left’s attempts to dismantle it.

On to the posts…

If it wasn’t obvious to you that I was getting at some underlying point about the positions taken by the Left (including Hitlery) today, it will be now. If you are sick to death of being called a Nazi for being conservative, hold your head up high today, and gloat.

Just about all of the things I pointed out and asked our liberal friends to defend were taken DIRECTLY FROM THE GERMAN NAZI PARTY PLATFORM. Some points, such as gun control, were taken from the US Constitution, just to throw people off the scent.

About two years ago (probably only Ol’ BC and Sage have been around long enough to remember this), I posted a point-by-point comparison of the Nazi Party Platform and positions typically taken by American liberals and conservatives. Of the 25 points in the platform, liberals matched on seventeen of them. Conservatives matched on three. This is how I knew I had the libs dead to rights with these posts. My only regret is that the only one to come around defending this stuff was someone who, though misguided, never resorted to being a loudmouth or an asshole. Oh, how much fun it would have been to wield the ClueBat then!

That’s right, my friends. If you took my little quiz this week and answered “a” to any of those questions, you were agreeing with the Nazis. My answers, of course, were “b” across the board.

Really. The only places American conservatives would actually agree with the Nazis (shit, even a stopped clock is right twice a day) would be:

* that only citizens of the country should hold public office,
* abolition of taxes on land (conservatives would call this “a good start”),
and
* outlawing child labor and abortion.

That’s about it, folks. Creaming the argument that conservatives are Nazis is easy. What most of us forget is that it’s even easier to make the point that our opponents are more Nazi-like than we are. This point needs to be made more often.

That’s why we call her HITLERY.

A Few Questions

Posted by RightWingRocker on November 3, 2007

I had a few thoughts this week, and wanted to see if I could put together a little quiz, since there are so many on the Internet today …

Which of each pair of statements are you more inclined to agree with?

1. a. It is the responsibility of the state to provide the opportunity for a livelihood and way of life for the citizens.
b. It is the responsibility of the people to provide for themselves and their families.

2. a. The US government should be responsible for elevating national health standards.
b. Americans would be better served with less government intervention in the health system.

3. a. Unearned income should be taxed at a high percentage.
b. Taxing dividends discourages investment and hurts the economy.

4. a. Business should be heavily taxed, regulated, or controlled outright by the government.
b. The government should avoid involvement in any business matters.

5. a. Freedom of religion for all religious denominations is ok so long as they do not oppose the moral senses of any non-religious person.
b. Thre should be no restrictions on the freedom of religion.

6. a. Anything that can be done to help Social Security do more for seniors should be done, and without hesitation.
b. Social Security was a bad idea in the first place, and should be done away with.

7. a. We should insist upon a healthy middle class and its conservation.
b. The middle class is completely capable of maintaining its own economic health, as well as increasing its prosperity on its own.

8. a. For the purposes of public utility, it is acceptable for the government to expropriate land from private citizens, as was done in Kelo v. New London.
b. Kelo v. New London was an unacceptable violation of citizens’ constitutional rights.

9. a. We should substitute a common law in place of the materialistic world-order that has been brought about by American capitalism.
b. There is nothing wrong with a little materialism in life. It does a body good!

10. a. The US government should be responsible for our whole national education program, to enable every capable and industrious American to obtain higher education.
b. The US government would be wise to vacate its current involvement in the education system, and leave the business of educating kids to the States.

Just curious to see how my readers, liberal and conservative alike, think. Please answer in the comment area.

Thanks!

Thompson on Gun Control

Posted by RightWingRocker on October 30, 2007

David over at The Gun Nut was able to get this statement from Fred Thompson on gun control, specifically the UN’s position with regard to it:

Last year, the United Nations Sub-Commission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights declared that international human rights law requires all nations to adopt strict gun control laws. These “minimum” provisions are much more restrictive than any of those on the books anywhere in the U.S. and would almost certainly violate the Second Amendment of our Constitution.

Besides concluding that all nations are obligated under international human rights law to control the small arms and light weapons to which its civilian population has access, the UN report remarkably denied the existence of any human right to self-defense, evidently overlooking the work of Hugo Grotius, the 17th century scholar credited as the founder of international law, who wrote, “It is to be observed that [the] Right of Self-Defence, arises directly and immediately from the Care of our own Preservation, which Nature recommends to every one. . . ,” and that this right is so primary, that it cannot be denied on the basis that it is not “expressly set forth.”

There is another disturbing aspect to this call for international global gun control. Throughout modern history, the forced disarmament of people by its government has often been accompanied or followed by that government’s commission of often massive human rights abuses. In fact, no genocide in the 20th century occurred when the victim population still possessed small arms, legally or illegally, with which to defend themselves.

So now the UN wants to disarm civilians? Where was the UN when the massacres in Rwanda occurred? What did the UN do to protect the victims of ethnic massacres in Bosnia? Disarming civilians under the guise of international human rights law will only lead to more such genocides by ensuring that civilians can never defend themselves! It would be funny if it weren’t so perverse.

Thankfully, the Framers of our Constitution recognized this potential peril to our liberty, and enshrined in our Second Amendment the more basic right of self-defense. The U.N. can say what it likes about other countries’ citizens’ possession of small arms being a violation of human rights law, but so long as the United States is a sovereign nation governed by its Constitution, its words will have no effect here. And I am glad for it.

I don’t care who you support for the presidency. This position is precisely correct, and as such is, and of right ought to be, a MINIMUM requirement for anyone wishing to hold the office of President of the United States.

America will be wise to accept no less.

Who Said It?

Posted by RightWingRocker on October 20, 2007

April, one of the newer readers here, recently asked me to do this, and voila!, Delfts puts it up.

Now he’s been quiet lately – dealing with some big-time health issues – to the point that he’s now listed in the “Silent MajoRWRity” section (which does need to be worked on, as there are other voiced that have returned), but this quiz should give you really good insight into the mind of the Left. No cheating. I’ll post the answers in the near future. Leave your guesses in the comment area.

1) “We’re going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.”

A. Karl Marx
B. Adolph Hitler
C. Joseph Stalin
D. None of the above

2) “It’s time for a new beginning, for an end to government of the few, by the few, and for the few…and to replace it with shared responsibility for shared prosperity.”

A. Lenin
B. Mussolini
C. Idi Amin
D. None of the Above

3) “(We)…can’t just let business as usual go on, and that means something has to be taken away from some people.”

A. Nikita Khrushev
B. Josef Goebbels
C. Boris Yeltsin
D. None of the above

4) “We have to build a political consensus and that requires people to give up a little bit of their own…in order to create this common ground.”

A. Mao Tse Dung
B. Hugo Chavez
C. Kim Jong Il
D. None of the above

5) “I certainly think the free-market has failed.”

A. Karl Marx
B. Lenin
C. Molotov
D. None of the above

6) “I think it’s time to send a clear message to what has become the most profitable sector in (the) entire economy that they are being watched.”

A. Pinochet

A Reasonable Liberal

Posted by RightWingRocker on October 19, 2007

OK, so I bait the hook for the trolls and they don’t show up. Guess the heat in the kitchen was too hot for them.

Instead, I get a reasonable liberal (read the thread on the last post). Reasonable meaning one who’s willing to actually come here and have a debate instead of just being a dickhead and a loser.

Someone has actually decided to try taking TripleNeck’s challenge.

Great.

First of all, let me say that Matt has done a great job in trying to get me to understand that there’s nothing wrong with what he believes. He has failed, though, because he hasn’t shown me that what he believes is in any way good for America, friendly to the philosophy of the Founders, or even legal under the Constitution to begin with.

Matt has admitted to being in favor of:

* Nationalized socialized healthcare
* Nationalized socialized education
* Nationalized socialized Socialist Security
* Nationalized socialized MediScare
* Illegal gun control laws
* Restricting the religious freedoms of some Christians

He has NOT:

* Encouraged race-baiting
* Championed non-existent rights for illegal aliens
* Engaged in Bush Derangement Syndrome-like bullshit
* Made any false accusations with regard to the War on Terror
* Invoked children

Areas we just can’t be sure about:

* Whether all-out socialism is really what he’s about. He said he doesn’t advocate socialism, but somehow found it quite all right to say he’s for much of the socialist agenda.
* Whether he believes the federal government should be responsible for the well-being and livelihood of the people living in the United States of America.
* Whether he holds any disdain for people with money.

I got a chuckle out of his idea that I shouldn’t refer to his party’s likely standard-bearer as “Hitlery”. My fusion of her name with that of ol’ Uncle Adolf is DELIBERATE. I do it to illustrate the truth about her ideology. If she’s allowed to do everything she wants to do (and the American people had better stand firmly in her way), you’re looking at Nazi Germany all over again. Exactly where do you think she gets away thinking stuff like Hitlerycare is ok? Even Matt, the “reasonable” liberal, supports that Nazi scheme.

I won’t beat up too terribly on Matt, though. He was a good sport and defended his positions without the usual liberal name-calling. Of course, his defense of these positions was flimsy at best, and reflected much of the usual “people shouldn’t have to be swamped with bills just because they got sick” kind of drivel. The idea that people get so swamped with bills because oppressive government regulation (largely from the fed) has made doctors so expensive seems to h ave never occurred to him.

As for the trolls, the hook remains baited. Any idiots care to take a taste??

You’d Think They’d Be Proud

Posted by RightWingRocker on October 3, 2007

I have been silent since Saturday on purpose.

My last post was intended to give liberal commentators the opportunity to defend or substantively deny a number of allegations I often make about their beliefs.  Specifically, I asserted that liberals:

  • Encourage race-baiting, giving their full support to racist statements and diatribes that come from the likes of Jesse Jackson, Louis Farrakhan, and Robert Byrd.
  • Champion the “rights” of millions of illegal aliens who refuse to obey our laws, organize violent gangs in our country, and have openly asserted that America is part of THEIR country that they are going to take back.
  • Openly believe that the purpose of government is to provide the opportunity for a livelihood and way of life for the citizens.
  • Are so completely taken over with Bush Derangement Syndrome that they can’t help but blame this President for everything that they see as wrong, including high gas prices.
  • Openly try to accuse the president of starting a war for personal gain (implying that any gains should be redistributed to the people).
  • Openly advocate nationalizing everything from health care to the price of milk.
  • Openly advocate high taxes so that they can decide who to give the money to.
  • Expect the rest of us to assume that everything can and should be done by the federal government.
  • Treat wealthy people and their money with disdain.
  • Expect the federal government to run all of the schools.
  • Justify the imposition of their socialist agenda by invoking children.
  • Constantly bemoan anyone’s practice of religious freedom.
  • Want a centralized government to run all of the above.

Not a single liberal, including the loudmouth who’s been hanging around here lately, has challenged a single one of these assertions.  Why?  Most likely because they know two things: (1) That I am right in asserting that these are their beliefs, and (2) That these beliefs are indefensible.  Otherwise, they’d be commenting in droves about how I was either wrong or that these beliefs were the right and proper course for America.

So, instead of defending their positions or demonstrating where I have erred, they either stand silent or call me a Nazi.

Yeah right.

Annoying Liberals

Posted by RightWingRocker on September 29, 2007

It’s been a while since we’ve had a liberal around for intelligent discourse. Of late, though, we have had a barking moonbat who seems to get his talking points from Cindy Sheehag, MoveOn and the “Truthers”. OK, well so much for intelligent discourse, but there’s always fun to be had slapping a lib around with the Immortal Cluebat, especially one that comes to a gun fight armed with a slingshot.

These liberals have no concept of reality. They love to tell you that constitutionalists are a dying breed, and wow, what a great thing that is. They love to tell you President Reagan was a moron, despite all his achievements while in office. They love to tell you that war is illegal. In a nutshell, to them the laughable is reality, and reality is, well, they wouldn’t know reality if it slapped them in the face.

How many liberals do you know that encourage race-baiting, giving their full support to racist statements and diatribes that come from the likes of Jesse Jackson, Louis Farrakhan, and Robert Byrd?

How many liberals do you know that champion the “rights” of millions of illegal aliens who refuse to obey our laws, organize violent gangs in our country, and have openly asserted that America is part of THEIR country that they are going to take back?

How many liberals do you know that openly believe that the purpose of government is to provide the opportunity for a livelihood and way of life for the citizens?

How many liberals do you know that are so completely taken over with Bush Derangement Syndrome that they can’t help but blame this President for everything that they see as wrong, including high gas prices?

How many liberals do you know that openly try to accuse the president of starting a war for personal gain (implying that any gains should be redistributed to the people)?

How many liberals do you know that openly advocate nationalizing everything from health care to the price of milk?

How many liberals do you know that openly advocate high taxes so that they can decide who to give the money to?

How many liberals do you know that expect the rest of us to assume that everything can and should be done by the federal government?

How many liberals do you know that treat wealthy people and their money with disdain?

How many liberals do you know that expect the federal government to run all of the schools?

How many liberals do you know that justify the imposition of their socialist agenda by invoking children?

How many liberals do you know that constantly bemoan anyone’s practice of religious freedom?

How many liberals do you know that want a centralized government to run all of the above?

These are all things about liberals that annoy me. What’s worse is that many of them come here championing these things with no idea how ridiculous they are being by doing so, and refuse to engage in a meaningful discussion of any issues. It’s all a bunch of name-calling and lying on their part.

Constitutionalists are part of a growing movement in America. A movement that is marked by recognition of the failed socialist policies of the 20th century and a desire to champion the ideals of the Founding Fathers. A great thing indeed, and lucky for us, the libs don’t even see it coming.

President Reagan was a genius, and an immensely popular one at that. Demonizing him only discredits the liberals. It’s a fool’s game to label a man a moron when he virtually single-handedly brought down the most evil empire the world had ever seen (ok ok … Marge and JP helped … ), brought a balanced budget to within reach by cutting taxes, and was smart enough to find a way to win re-election with almost a clean sweep.

Wars are going to happen. It’s a simple fact of the world. No one likes them, but when you are attacked by ruthless warriors, you must respond as ruthless warriors. The best way to prevent war is to be more prepared for it than your enemies and be prepared to prove it when they test you. Mr. Bush’s unpopularity with regard to the war is not a positive response to cronies like Cindy Sheehag who oppose the war because the guy at the helm is less of a socialist than they are, but because he stopped fighting long before it was appropriate to do so. He failed to cut off the hand that was feeding the terrorists, as an Iraqi friend of mine once suggested. This president’s willingness to answer the terrorists’ declaration of war with rockets and bombs is admirable. His failure to keep fighting as appropriate is his downfall in this regard.

Of course, no liberal will ever admit that – at least publicly; but watch the leading Donk presidential candidates put forth their plans for the War on Terror, and listen closely to what they will entail. You’re not going to be looking at a cut-n-run strategy from any of them that really want to win.

Libs are annoying. Funny, but annoying. Some of the best laughs I have ever had have come at the expense of liberals being stupid. Remember when Bill Clinton came on TV and told all of America that the Blizzard of ’96 was caused by “global warming”?? I almost suffocated that day.

Funny, but annoying.

A Wall

Posted by RightWingRocker on September 26, 2007

One of the more humorous examples of libs and their foolishness came today in the comment area after some speculation as to why libs look elsewhere for converts to their communist agenda:

I think it’s more due to the fact that intelligent people quickly (it doesn’t take a year!) realize that talking to people like you is like talking to a wall. The only difference is a wall has a more nuanced sense of the issues, and reasons more clearly than the lot of you.

Intelligent people, for the most part, agree with what we say here, for starters. Nobody who has taken any time at all to read the founding documents of this country could possibly disagree with the basic points we make here post after post. I say “we” because the comments are largely in unison these days. Why? Because liberals know that this is not a place to look for converts. This is a place where the Founders’ vision is revered and celebrated. Those who would dismantle our Constitution and that which has made this country the greatest in the history of mankind know better than to argue with those of us armed with these powerful truths.

Walls don’t reason, dumbass. Sensible people do. Issues are not “nuanced” any more than a John Kerry speech (when looking for what liberals call “nuance” in a Kerry speech, just listen for the lies).

The problem with our liberal friends isn’t that they’re ignorant. It’s that they know so much that isn’t so.

The greatest president of the twentieth century uttered these words in his day. God rest his soul; truer words have never been spoken.

With all the proof that socialism is a useless joke, it’s impossible to go forward without questioning liberals’ motives when they advocate it.

This is by far the greatest and most urgent of the issues we face in America today. What nuance do you need?

Yet Another Retard

Posted by RightWingRocker on September 18, 2007

Moonbat Monitor has more than his share of trolls. Last fall, he dealt with an idiot in his usual fashion, and did such a bang-up job he posted a special link to the post.

I didn’t realize just how long it had been since I had read it, but I clicked it tonight just for laughs. Lo and behold, another retard had surfaced. With nothing left to go on after the other commentators and I had creamed the other fool, he trumped up a phony accusation of bad grammar on my part (I had joined in the fun of ClueBatting the original retard for misspelling a word to the point he was using a homonym) obviously figuring that since the post was almost five months old, that I’d never see it.

eftwingmuthafucka left…

~Just a heads up~ “RIGHTWINGROCKER”. When criticizing someone for their use of a misspelled word, you may want to consider using correct grammar to do so.

“I love the way people come around criticizing people’s intelligence and in the same breath misspelling SIMPLE WORDS to the point they’re using homonyms.”

I believe it would be “misspell SIMPLE WORDS” not “misspelling”. It concerns me that you teach seventh graders. Hopefully it’s math and not english.

All I could do was laugh. This guy criticized my correct grammar with all of the confidence of a 911Truther. He just knew he was right, even though the proof to the contrary was right there.

Enjoy my response:

You would be well-advised to take The Daily Carrier’s advice, as given to “The Capt.”

“When you find yourself in a hole, QUIT DIGGING!!!!!”

Let’s analyze my alleged failure to use “correct grammar” …

Here is what I said, even as you quoted it:

“I love the way people come around criticizing people’s intelligence and in the same breath misspelling SIMPLE WORDS to the point they’re using homonyms.”

… and your attempt at a correction …

I believe it would be “misspell SIMPLE WORDS” not “misspelling”

Actually, you can congratulate yourself for having the agility to insert your foot directly into your mouth, idiot.

Let’s have a little lesson on what is known as “parallel construction”, shall we??

What you see, if you can get yourself to understand this, is actually TWO sentences (connected by the word “and”). They are:

“I love the way people come around criticizing people’s intelligence.”

and

“I love the way people come around misspelling SIMPLE WORDS to the point they’re using homonyms.”

When adding a conjunction and combining the sentences together, you must keep the cases of the verbs the same – CRITICIZING and MISSPELLING.

So, hopefully you’re not out there educating our youth about anything to do with the language, because you obviously have no clue whatsoever.

Fuck you.

RWR

Indeed. Moonbat Monitor sure gets some loonies.

Idiocy Revisited

Posted by RightWingRocker on September 10, 2007

Well, surfing about this afternoon, I came across this:

What a gas!

Let’s have a little fun with this, shall we?

People are dying in a war based on inaccurate facts.

OK. Someone hand this idiot a dictionary, and quick.

Facts, by definition are NOT inaccurate. And what facts are you disputing anyway? Osama bin Laden ordered the massacre of thousands of Americans, and we are to sit idly by? Saddam Hussein offers big cash rewards to the families of suicide bombers for killing Americans, and we are supposed to just laugh it up?

These people are against disarming the likes of bin Laden and Hussein, but they have absolutely NO PROBLEM with advocating laws that disarm innocent Americans who have a legally protected right to arm themselves. What kind of fucked up logic is that???

Our government is corrupt.

Go figure. So is every other government that has existed in the history of this world. Are you going to tell me that the Bush Administration is more corrupt than the Hussein regime?? Get real.

Gas prices still keep going up.

Blame that on liberal enviro-nut regulation. Hey, if your corrupt government officials gave two shits about your gas prices, they could shave 18 cents per gallon off the price TOMORROW with ONE VOTE. Instead they complain about how Americans are selfish with their energy use. What fucking hypocrites.

Homes are being destroyed in natural disasters.

Um … What exactly is your point here? Are you trying to say that living in an area prone to, say, earthquakes, doesn’t make your home a target for destruction by mother nature? If someone builds a house in a flood zone, he runs the risk of losing his home in a flood … even if he buys flood insurance – go figure.

It’s just that damned Mother Nature. If we would all just drive hybrids, she just might stop tearing up our towns with tornadoes, floods, hurricanes, and earthquakes. Are we seeing the lunacy here yet?

Children are being abused by their families.

So what’s your answer?? Taking all the kids from their parents so the government can abuse them even more? Is there anyone left that buys this bleeding heart bullshit?

The local pedophile may be a priest.

He/she may also be a teacher, principal, bartender, automobile salesman, garbage truck driver, secretary, or dentist. What exactly is your point?

Poverty still exists even though we are the richest nation in the world.

Again, SO FUCKING WHAT? We are also the country with the most opportunity for those same impoverished people to overcome that poverty. The fact that they choose not to isn’t anyone’s fault but their own.

There is still no cure for AIDS.

Nope there isn’t – and there’s also no cure for heart disease or lung cancer, both of which are more dangerous and innocently spread than AIDS. Yet how much more attention (and unconstitutional money) does AIDS get, even though it’s spread behaviorally?

Yet another Bush could still become our President.

With your luck, it’ll be Jenna. I wonder why you’re not so worried about an anti-American socialist named Hitlery becoming president … That would be “another” Clinton, and a much more dangerous one at that.

All this and you’re still going to focus on my sexuality?

I haven’t said anything about your sexuality. Quite frankly, I couldn’t give two shits.

Someone smack this moron.

Another Liberal Wants to Bet

Posted by RightWingRocker on September 7, 2007

I guess they just don’t learn.

After that ordeal with Freder, though, I’m not all about making a bet with a liberal.  They just can’t admit defeat.  They cannot face the fact that they are wrong about so many things.

We could have Osama bin Laden sitting in the Oval Office decreeing that, starting tomorrow, all American women would have to wear burquas and quit their jobs, and they would somehow find a way to say that their cut-and-run approach to the War on Terror was successful and that America could have never won without them and their ideas.

The federal income tax rate could be at 300% for the lowest bracket of their idiotic tax ponzi scheme, and they would never admit its failure, even as the US economy would plummet into a situation that would make the Great Depression look like a walk in the park.

So betting with this idiot would have the exact same result as it did with the last idiot.  We conservatives would have to face the fact that another socialist hard-head had been proven wrong and claimed the reverse to be true.

Whoopy-fucking-do.

Moonbat Monitor Socks it to Calderon

Posted by RightWingRocker on September 4, 2007

Moonbat Monitor has done it again.

In response to Farks wannabe Felipe Calderon’s assertions that Mexico has no borders, Moonbat Monitor hit back with this:

Dear Mr. Calderon,

I feel it is my duty to advise you of an invention from long ago that is still used to this very day. This amazing invention is called a “map.” On this “map” thing, you will in fact see that although there might be Mexicans here in the US, it is not in fact Mexico. You see, there are these line thingys on “maps” called “borders,” and when looking at these “borders,” you will notice your country ends at one point and ours begins. Therefore realizing this, I think it would be appropriate for you to amend or retract your statements in regards to your country never ending. They’re wrong. My map says so. And perhaps you can have one of the millions of your citizens that have invaded our country shoplift one of these fancy “maps” and send it to you so you can fully understand this concept.

Sarcastically and not so respectfully,

-Moonbat Monitor.

I couldn’t have said it better myself.

My words for Mr. Calderon are a little simpler:

If you have a problem with the US making and enforcing our own laws, shut the fuck up and declare war already. The US could use a little more land to the south, your subjects in Mexico would wind up with all the rights of real US citizens – and without the oppressive socialism they come to America to escape, and defending a border with Belize and Guatemala would be considerably easier than this long border we have right now.

Go ahead – IF you think you can win.

RWR

Update 9/7: Moonbat Monitor has been honored as an Honorable Soldier of the RWRmy for his appropriate treatment of liberals … More to come …

One Year Later

Posted by RightWingRocker on August 25, 2007

I swung by today before typing my class notes for the week and noticed I had as many hits as I would typically have had on an average blogging day – and I haven’t had an average day blogging for quite some time. I realized that a year had passed since the last time I posted about having won that bet with Freder_Frederson, and figured some people may have come by to see if I had anything to say about it.

Not that I have much to say. CENTCOM still isn’t reporting anything about a civil war raging in Iraq, Bryan has been quiet (and I do know that he’s been re-deployed somewhere, possibly even Iraq), Omar’s most recent mention of it was this past June, and it went something like this:

For over a year the media and many officials were spooking us with the exaggerated ghost of civil war.

Mohammed, also this past June:

Attacking the Askari shrine for the second time emphasizes how those who ordered the attacks have been betting their money on this tactic to spark civil war in Iraq.

So … Still no civil war in Iraq.  And, of course, still no steak dinner from Freder.  No surprise.  For Freder, the civil war started the day President Bush took the Oath of Office.

All this talk of civil war was for the purpose of discrediting the President.  Why not discredit him for laying off Iran and Syria?  Why not discredit him for refusing to secure the borders?  After all, if you want to discredit President Bush, those are two areas in which he is particularly vulnerable.

Of course, the answer to those questions is simple.  Liberals are even LESS credible on those issues than the President.  The criticism he gets from Iraqis isn’t from dethroning Saddam or failing to contain the terrorists there.  The Iraqis are all too aware that these kinds of problems were going to exist.  Iraqis complain that President Bush didn’t cut off the “insurgency” at its source (Iran and Syria), not that he dethroned Saddam.

The libs are also on the same side as the President when it comes to securing the borders.  They’re mostly for amnesty and against fencing off the Southern border.  They’re just as fucked up as the President when it comes to that as well.

Still, imagine what we would have had with a President Gore or Fuckweasel.  I shudder to think.  I’ll take ANY of the candidates running for the Republican nomination over Hitlery or Barack the Schlock, and you can rest assured that that’s where the Donks are headed – right into Hitlery’s concentration camp.  I’ll take eight years of a liberal Republican over her socialism any day – better to complain about the erosion of rights over time and have it eventually be reversible than to have to live under a Hitlery regime that could possibly convince America to give up our sacred Constitution and never go away.  If you don’t think Hitlery is capable of that, you had better look again.

She and people like Freder are the greatest threat our Constitution has faced in the history of our Republic.

Stop Waiting for a Reagan

Posted by RightWingRocker on August 7, 2007

So says John Hawkins.

While John is absolutely right with regard to everything he has said in this piece, I have just one thing to say about it:

Regardless of whether there will be another Reagan in our lifetimes, or for that matter ever for this country, the litmus test for any candidate is and should be his proximity to President Reagan on the various issues. What would Reagan have done? Is a question every American conservative should ask when considering a candidate’s position on an issue.

Sorry, folks. I just don’t have time to say any more. Besides, what else needs to be said?

Keep Your Head Up, April

Posted by RightWingRocker on July 30, 2007

My recent post, in which I explained what the Donks were REALLY saying when they said certain things, brought forth some commentary from a newer reader who came to us via Moonbat Monitor’s blog.

“Progressive”. So, is that the ne politically correct way of saying America hating, socialist, f**k the Constitution, I’ll change the laws to suit my nanny state ideas, do it my way or else, liberal? And will we be charged with some kind of ‘ism’ if we use the L word now?

april

April is pretty much always right on point. I often wonder why I don’t see a blog out there with her name on it. Maybe she has one and I just don’t know about it. I responded as follows:

That’s the new word, April. You’re right on top of it, as usual.

HAHA … Yep. Do we get to pick which ism? Make mine Catholicism. It’s just too provocative and right to pass up!

Go Benny!

RWR

RightWingRocker

I had to have a little fun! Any why not Catholicism? Sure beats socialism, liberalism, communism and, of course, progressivism. April didn’t seem consoled:

The fact that I’m on top of it makes not a whit of difference. The left has taken over this country by changing the laws over the past thirty years to suit their agenda, and my voice (and the majority of Americans’) has been sufficiently stifled. Who’s Benny?

april

Again, she’s right on point, mostly. The Left hasn’t changed the laws per se to suit their agenda. What they’ve done is ignored and usurped them, particularly those laws that impose limitations upon what powers they may have once elected to office.

After I submitted and re-read my response to this, I realized that there were some really important points in it (which I believe warranted creating this post):

Ahh … Forgot you’re new here …

“Benny” is my nickname for Pope Benedict XVI. Most people don’t have any idea of the influence he had in the administration of JPII. He was the perfect choice at the time, and will certainly prove one of the great leaders in the history of the church, despite the size of the shoes he now must fill.

The Left’s assault on America started long before LBJ. It’s only since then that people have noticed. Your voice is important, April, because without it, the voices of the true Patriots in this country would be further silenced.

This is the one positive I see in the Ron Paul candidacy. He’s brought out a bunch of conservative voices that have avoided participation for decades. Even though his chances of winning the primary or the general election are less than nil, his conservative voice (and that of his following) is a strong magnet pulling the debate in its proper direction – the Right.

Though I sincerely fear a Schlock or Hitlery presidency, I know in my heart of hearts that the conservative movement has the upper hand in this election, just because of the power of the conservative voices shouting to save the freedoms the Left would force us to surrender.

There’s a reason the Right is called the Right. And it has to do with more than just the direction.

RWR

RightWingRocker

Of course, it was only fair that I let her in on who “Benny” is.  After that, a brief history lesson.  The assault on the Constitution began in earnest in the early part of this century when FDR tuned the Constitution on its head.  Those of us who adore and respect President Lincoln have to shoulder a small part of the blame for this, due to his doing the right thing for all the right reasons but without the real authority to do it (freeing the slaves).  FDR simply applied that concept to his belief that implementing socialism was the right thing to do, and that his intentions were good, even though he had no authority to do it.

Still, two wrongs don’t make a right, and there’s a BIG difference between releasing people from slavery that they never should have been forced to endure and forcing an entire nation into government servitude simply because its people are having difficulty on the economic front.

April’s voice, like those of Moonbat Monitor, MrMinority, Emperor Misha, and others, are necessary for the defeat of this onslaught of socialist extremism we face today.  We simply cannot have her voice go silent like so many have.  We will need every conservative to stand firmly against socialism in the coming election cycle, as Hitlery does have a shot, and a big enough one that we cannot afford to stand by aloof.

I also refer to the Ron Paul candidacy.  This is a very important reference, as Ron Paul is a very important candidate in this race.  While I stand a better chance of throwing a snowball from Philadelphia to Hitlery’s home in Illinois, Arkansas, or New York (pick one – I can’t reach any of them from Philly) than Mr. Paul does of winning the primaries, he and his following are serving an EXTREMELY important purpose – FORCING THE DEBATE TO THE RIGHT.

Say what you want about the nutcases that actively support Mr. Paul.  Lord knows I’ve said plenty here at the RWRepublic, but make no mistake about it – these people are not going to go away just because their candidate loses the nomination.  They’ve been a silent but frustrated lot, and now they are returning to activism.  That means more conservatives involved in the discourse.

That can only be a good thing, even if some of them toss their vote to the Libertarian Party (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing as long as there’s a corresponding siphon party on the Left having the same effect).  Most will support the winner of the Republican primary, given the fact that they, through their candidate, had the real and fair opportunity to influence the party’s direction, and will continue to do so in the future.

That’s why I say conservatives have the upper hand.  It’s not in the bag by a long shot, but we do have the upper hand.

Translation: Donk Debate

Posted by RightWingRocker on July 28, 2007

OK …

I’ll admit I didn’t even know the Donks were having a debate this week. Now I can’t find a transcript.

However, there have been a few comments posted in the blogosphere from the debate, chock full of the usual liberal “spin”. So here’s some of what was said (courtesy of John Hawkins), and what was really meant by it.

Mrs. Clinton, how would you define the word “liberal?”

And would you use this word to describe yourself?

—————–

HITLERY: You know, it is a word that originally meant that you were for freedom, that you were for the freedom to achieve, that you were willing to stand against big power and on behalf of the individual.

Unfortunately, in the last 30, 40 years, it has been turned up on its head and it’s been made to seem as though it is a word that describes big government, totally contrary to what its meaning was in the 19th and early 20th century.

I prefer the word “progressive,” which has a real American meaning, going back to the progressive era at the beginning of the 20th century.

I consider myself a modern progressive, someone who believes strongly in individual rights and freedoms, who believes that we are better as a society when we’re working together and when we find ways to help those who may not have all the advantages in life get the tools they need to lead a more productive life for themselves and their family.

So I consider myself a proud modern American progressive, and I think that’s the kind of philosophy and practice that we need to bring back to American politics.

TRANSLATION:

You know, it is a word that originally meant that you were for freedom, that you were for the freedom to achieve, that you were willing to stand against big power and on behalf of the individual. Of course, I’ve never been for ANY of that. I’ve always believed that freedom took too much power away from the powerful, and that people who achieve should be forced to do as they are told with the fruits of their success. The interest of the individual should never take precedence over the interests of big power, especially when that big power is me.

In the last 30, 40 years, it has been turned up on its head and it’s been made to seem as though it is a word that describes big government, totally contrary to what its meaning was in the 19th and early 20th century. Now it means something that I agree with, except to a lesser degree. Big government as we have today can never do everything we need big government to do, so it must be made bigger.

I prefer the word “progressive,” which has a real American meaning, going back to the progressive era at the beginning of the 20th century. That’s when real Americans actually entered the picture. Washington? Jefferson? Adams? Franklin? Paine? Madison? All lightweights with no clue. You want to talk about REAL Americans? FDR. LBJ. HRC. Those are the Americans who have made a difference.

I consider myself a modern progressive, someone who believes strongly in individual rights and freedoms, except those guaranteed by the Bill of Rights; who believes that we are better as a society when we steal people’s money and give it to those who refuse to lead more productive lives for themselves and their families.

So I consider myself a proud modern American progressive, a true socialist, and I think that’s the kind of philosophy and practice that we need to bring to American politics.

You can take your “modern American progressive philosophy” and shove it up your fat hairy ass, Mrs. Clinton. Maybe you can use it to clean your cankles after you shit it out.

Dennis Kucinich: I say we achieve strength through peace. That’s the new doctrine that I’m going to promote throughout this campaign.

TRANSLATION:

I say we try a new approach to winning wars – surrender. That’s the new doctrine that I’m going to promote throughout this campaign.

Dennis Kucunich, surrender monkey.

John Edwards: I would challenge every Democrat on this stage today to commit to raising the minimum wage to $9.50 an hour by the year 2012.

TRANSLATION:

I would challenge every Democrat on this stage today to commit to increasing unemployment and the need for socialist programs by raising the minimum wage to $9.50 an hour by the year 2012.

As if any of them would turn down THAT opportunity?!?!?!

Senator Obama, how do we pull out now?

OBAMA: Look, I opposed this war from the start. Because I anticipated that we would be creating the kind of sectarian violence that we’ve seen and that it would distract us from the war on terror.

At this point, I think we can be as careful getting out as we were careless getting in. But we have to send a clear message to the Iraqi government as well as to the surrounding neighbors that there is no military solution to the problems that we face in Iraq.

TRANSLATION:

Look, I opposed this war from the start. Because I anticipated that we would be creating the kind of sectarian violence that we’ve seen decline and that it would enhance our success in the war on terror. Any military success for America is bad for America.

At this point, I think we can be as foolish getting out as we were successful getting in. But we have to send a clear message to the Iraqi government as well as to the surrounding neighbors that there is no military solution to the problems that we face in Iraq if a Democrat is in the White House. We just don’t handle these things well.

The simple fact is that the Donks could have never dreamed of the successes that were achieved in Iraq militarily – never mind the decline in terrorist activity at home that accompanied them. Of course, Osama Obama would rather succumb to terrorists at home than fight them abroad. Great strategy – NOT.

I think he just made an admission against self-interest. I don’t know that he is mentally qualified to own that gun. I’m being serious. Look, just like me, we go around talking about people who own guns. I am the guy who originally wrote the assault weapons ban, that became law, and then we got defeated and then Dianne Feinstein went to town on it and did a great job.

TRANSLATION:

This guy owns a gun. Therefore, he is crazy. I don’t know that he is mentally qualified to own that gun. I’m being serious. Look, just like me, we go around talking about people who own guns. I am the guy who originally wrote the assault weapons ban, that became law, and then we got defeated and then Dianne Feinstein went to town on it and did a great job.

Look, we should be working with law enforcement, right now, to make sure that we protect protect the government against people who know what to do with a gun and might use one to protect their freedoms against those of us who are all about controlling them.

Mr. Biden, YOU are crazy. YOU are the evil one who should not be trusted. You say you want to take guns away from people, while in the same statement, you brag about your own criminal record writing laws that violate the Second Amendment.

And how about Obama’s prevarication about not being able to get a cab in New York City because he’s black. If I were a cab driver, I’d pass him up just because he’s nutty as a fruitcake.

If this is the best the Donks can do, they’re going to need Hitlery’s ballot box stuffing techniques to even come close!

Another Great Voice Goes Silent

Posted by RightWingRocker on July 25, 2007

What’s with bloggers these days?

At each and every turn, another voice of the right goes silent. This weekend, Katey announced that her blog will be shut down in the very near future.

Kate was truly one that belonged to the GLOB (Gorgeous Ladies Of the Blogosphere). I’ve seen pics.

With the voices of Delfts, Paul, CJ, Mama, TripleNeck, and Fox all going silent, I’m going to need to have a new section of the BlogRWRoll for “The Silent MajoRWRity”.

Folks, I promise to hang in there as long as you are reading, despite my current lapse in productivity. It’s the school thing. Studying is eating up all of the time I used to devote to research and writing.

In the meantime, all my best wishes and a musical prayer go out to Kate.

The Lord bless you and keep you
The Lord lift His countenance upon you,
And give you peace, and give you peace;
The Lord make His face to shine upon you,
And be gracious, and be gracious;
The Lord be gracious, gracious unto you.

Exam Prep …

Posted by RightWingRocker on July 24, 2007

I was going to send blogger kudos to the Pope for his relaxing restrictions on the Latin Mass, but I realized that was all I knew about current events, due to my intense studying for the next big tech exam.

Another interference is the performing world. We went from nothing to rehearsing two nights a week and from no active clients to three, all in the space of a couple of weeks. Not that it’s a bad thing or a problem, but it does cut into blogging time (and time to read anything other than the current tech manual).

After the exam, I’ll make a run around the blogosphere and get something up. I should be taking it sometime late next week.

Say a prayer. Failure is not an option.

Fred’s Going to Run

Posted by RightWingRocker on July 17, 2007

Well, The Washington Post (yeah I know – lots of credibility … NOT) says so. Actually, they quoted Thompson advisor Mary Matalin (who IS credible) as saying this:

“He has made up his mind,” she said. “And one can appreciate that planning the announcement of what’s on his mind needs to take place in a deliberative fashion.”

I’m not sure about the strategy. It seems to me waiting until September may not be the best idea. Still, Matalin and Thompson, et. al. are more experienced in campaign matters than I.

Let’s hope they’re right.
